Have you ever wondered how you would sound narrating an audiobook? Me neither.
Recently, while researching user patterns in apps (yes, I do some real work occasionally), I stumbled upon Audible. As I looked for specific patterns, I had an interesting thought...
What If... you could have Audible books narrated in your voice using AI? I know people who love the sound of their own voice.
(Not me. Listening to my voice during edits is a painful reminder of how much I dislike it.)
But this service could be particularly appealing to those who enjoy their voice. It might even help listeners absorb more of the book, as we tend to pay closer attention when we hear our voice.
However, there are two potential drawbacks: first, this feature could extend the listening time, and second, the cost of developing and maintaining this service might be prohibitive. Producing content would require deploying advanced AI technology and storing large audio files for every user's voice.
Still, it's not that far-fetched.
