Belomorskaya Metro Station – 3D Concept Model
Context: A concept-level 3D model of Belomorskaya station (Moscow Metro), created for potential use in a Source-engine environment but not deployed in-game.
Challenge: Visually reconstruct a newly built metro station in a modular 3D format, capturing its signature structural elements and spatial clarity.
How it was built
Constructed in Blender, using real-world photographs and available floorplans as primary reference
Modeled major elements: columns, wall sections, lighting fixtures, platform arrangement
Focused on modular layout logic, intended for performance-friendly segmentation
Clean topology and surface detailing prepared the model for potential engine export, although the project remained conceptual
My role & solution
Sole 3D artist: modeling, assembly, layout, and material mockups
Developed scene for future adaptation to dynamic lighting and collision systems
Maintained a clean file structure and naming logic for expandability
Translating real-world architecture into digital form.
This is a fan-made 3D model of the Belomorskaya metro station (Moscow Metro, Line 2)
Tools used: Blender, Photoshop
The model reflects the actual architectural style of Belomorskaya: a clean, functional underground space with minimalistic finishes, bright lighting, and structural rhythm typical of modern Moscow Transport design. Though not finalized for deployment, the model reflects practical 3D environment-building skills, architectural observation, and readiness for cross-media adaptation (game, render, simulation)
This is a personal, non-commercial work, created for experimentation and fun in a virtual space
