Love Applied Counseling

The beauty of Love, Applied Counseling lies in its expansive comma - an intentionally inclusive punctuation mark, acknowledging how love exists in many, many forms. The power of this comma became the central part of my brand design for Laura, an affirming sex and relationship therapist, who celebrates all the ways we love ourselves and others.

The bird in her logo is an adaptation of the Eternal Lovers symbol from the Taíno culture of the Dominican Republic, paying homage to Laura’s personal heritage. If you look closely, you can see the bird’s head, body, and eye are all commas.

Creating these kinds of hidden details for my clients is my favorite part of doing this work!
