"Hungry for Adventure" for Tatami Fightwear

Combining elements of Traditional Japanese Design and Surf Imagery, this is one of many designs for Tatami Fightwear that embraced a Tropical Japanese hybrid expression. Designs within designs are always a welcome addition to any illustration, so the incorporation of flowers into the surfboard was a no-brainer. This design could easily have come across as "dark" or "demonic," so the addition of the To-Go noodle box, helped to give the piece some playful levity. There's just something about this little guy that always brings a smile.
