Chumakov Bakery Brand Identity

When my friend K. met her future husband, they decided to open a bakery and asked me to design a logo.

I went with bold shapes and distressed look to create a feeling of a cozy, no frills place where everything is done by hand.

This is a muted version of the logo which I think works well too.

They chose this color palette and stenciled letters for the brand name.

And for the monochrome variant of the logo, I changed it slightly. The wings are now at 90 degrees as opposed to 45 degrees -- otherwise the design would be to bulky in monochrome.
