Collective Strangers

Collective Strangers is a creative studio operating in the web3 photography and art space. They are responsible for launching the first community-sourced photography collection on the blockchain as well as a stylized generative NFT PFP collection with well-known illustrator, Nick Kuchar. I was tasked to design their branding as well as structure and design their website.

I designed both the UX and UI for the entire Collective Strangers website. The focal point of the landing page is the vertical, scrolling columns that showcase photography taken by members of the collective meant to act as the most eye-catching design element.

The collections page showcases all the photography and art projects the collective is currently involved in, with various collection cards for each project. The gallery page is that next level into the experience, where the user clicks on a specific collection card landing them in that collection’s gallery.

The Collective Strangers branding is pretty simple and self-explanatory. In an effort to achieve a modern, minimal look and feel, I stuck with two colors and two fonts. The logo mark is meant to look like geometric and somewhat abstract ‘C’ and ‘S’ joining together to symbolize the collective.
