Givmi - Energy Gummies Brand Identity & Packaging Design
Project Challenge:
Givmi is a Singapore-based health and wellness brand dedicated to creating innovative supplements for young, active consumers. Their flagship product, Givmi Energy, is Singapore's first sugar-free caffeine gummy, designed to provide instant energy in a convenient, on-the-go format.
Givmi primarily targets younger individuals, including professionals and students, who seek healthier and more sustainable alternatives to traditional energy sources like coffee or energy drinks.
The challenge for Givmi’s branding and packaging design was to strike a delicate balance:
Evoke Trust and Professionalism: As a food product, the design needed to inspire confidence in the product's quality, safety, and functionality, moving beyond the playful or overly casual look of a candy brand.
Appealing to a Younger Demographic: The design had to be modern, clean, and vibrant to attract a younger generation that values health-conscious choices.
Ensuring Convenience and Accessibility: The packaging needed to be portable and functional, reinforcing the idea of an on-the-go energy solution.
Solution:
The design strikes a warm balance between professionalism and youthful energy, using clean, structured layouts and sans-serif typography to evoke trust and clarity. The vibrant orange, complemented by yellow, beige, and white, reflects the product’s natural orange flavor and energy-boosting benefits while maintaining a polished and approachable look. A playful gummy character was introduced as a key visual element, bringing a fun and relatable personality to the brand that can be used across both print and digital applications, adding a unique and memorable touch. The compact, resealable packaging emphasizes convenience, with key product details prominently displayed to ensure transparency and trustworthiness. This thoughtful approach positions Givmi as a modern, reliable, and accessible energy solution for younger professionals and students.
