PawTrack: A Pet Tracker App Concept
The Idea
To finish off my App Design class journey, I had a big project to work on. The assignment was pretty much a free topic; as long as I used everything I've learned during the semester.
As a pet owner myself, I thought it would be so fun to make an app dedicated to keeping track of my pet's needs. I had a bunch of ideas; some of them made it, some of them, not. I made a survey, where I asked all my friends and family to tell me what they would like to see in such an app, and comment on the ideas I already had. It was quite a journey, and I'm very proud of the results.
I used my own dog, Badi, for the profile in the app. I found that very important.
There isn't much for me to add. as all of the pages and ideas are explained in the presentation I posted below.
The Figma prototype:
Resources and Programs
The entirety of the project was done using Figma.
As for the used resources, the few pictures I had I just searched on Google. The icons used were from a plugin called Icons8. I created the logo myself using Figma's vector tools.
In these screenshots I show the process of making the color scheme, choosing the font, and making a wireframe. I have to add that, if not for the full colored version which didn't offer enough contrast, I would've probably went with the green and red combination, but I still enjoy the look I ended up going with as well.
