Computer Character Posters
For this series of Resolute Building Intelligence posters, I designed visuals to distinguish the two core apps — Synergy and Fusion — by drawing a parallel between the evolution of technology and the workflow within the apps. These posters were created specifically for the developers' area of the office, and the concept centers on the relationship between the Apple II and Apple Macintosh. The Apple II, with its green screen interface, represents Synergy, the app used for configuration and building integration. Just as the Apple II laid the foundation for the later development of the Apple Macintosh (which introduced the graphical user interface), Synergy must be used first to configure and integrate the building before Fusion can be effective. The Apple Macintosh, with its more advanced graphical interface, symbolizes Fusion, the analytics and reporting tool that provides fault detection, diagnosis, and data insights once the configuration work in Synergy is complete. This design approach visually emphasizes the sequential nature of the apps’ roles in the process — configuration and integration in Synergy must come before users can benefit from the analytics and reporting in Fusion. I used Adobe Illustrator to craft these visuals, ensuring they both highlighted the technical progression and resonated with the developers' environment.
