Based on the understanding of Korean people and products, the owner of the Assa Korean brand was determined to build and develop a supermarket chain with the goal of not only providing quality, Korean-standard products but also carrying the mission of connecting the culture and people of both countries.
However, the problem of differentiation and brand positioning for Assa is not simple when many retail supermarket chains have been ahead of them for decades.
Faced with this challenge, Kaiza's creative team proposed the idea of putting a truly unique, truly "Korean" image into the design. We want customers to immediately think of the culture of the land of Kim Chi when looking at the logo. And Kaiza chose the image of a woman with curly hair - reminiscent of the "Korean auntie" image - as the central element. Combined with a friendly expression and modern font, the logo becomes more interesting and suitable for young people. Finally, the main red tone is used to express the youthful and dynamic nature of the brand.
