GauG: Fantasy eSports team dashboard
The GauG platform merges competitive gaming with collectible NFT cards, bringing fantasy sports mechanics to Japan's thriving eSports scene.
The challenge was multilayered: introduce an unfamiliar concept (fantasy sports) to a sophisticated gaming market, while building a platform that could support NFT trading, real-time stats tracking, and competitive gameplay. We needed to make something complex feel intuitive and exciting.
We developed a scalable design system that adapts to each supported game title while maintaining consistent functionality. The stats display dynamically updates based on real tournament results, with visual treatments that emphasize significant changes in player performance. Interactive elements respond with subtle animations that reinforce user actions without disrupting the flow of information.
The end result is more than just a dashboard - it's the foundation for introducing a whole new way to engage with eSports.
