Creating Short-Form Branded Video

This client needed a branded video introduction that doubled as a video ad to run during events and trade shows. Directionally, they had no idea what to do or what would work. No problem for me. I pitched several concepts, all with a common theme. I wanted the viewer immersed in Hawthorne's "World" with a unique shot focused on not just buildings and developments (like so many competitors do), but instead focused on the environment that green investments improve. This is their unique selling proposition and it leaves viewers with a sense of openness, aspiration, and opportunity to grow and thrive.

The logo treatment uses trim paths to build the logo in an outlined fashion. This represents the building, development, and active growth of green investments all throughout the country.

The audio has become a signature for the company and the brand. An aural crescendo and tonal chirps lead to a 4-note ending of soft, digital boops. It's all there to convey the story and complement the motion graphics. The world will be a better place. You'll have a brighter future full of growth through eco-innovation.
