LASGIDI BOY | Album Cover Art Process
This is a project I’m grateful to be a part of. I was tasked with creating a bright, Lagos-inspired artwork for the song, featuring popular Lagos sights such as the yellow Danfo Bus, and famous Lagos streets such as Broad Street, Bode Thomas, Adeola Odeku and Allen Avenue.
So I got started crafting the landscape and street view, adding buildings and some street elements seen in Lagos. Next, I added a Danfo bus, black-and-white pavements and street signs.
Finally, I sketched the character sitting on the bus, gave it colour and added some shadows and highlights to fit in the scene.
