Nakula: The Skilled Swordsman of the Mahabharata:

In the Hindu epic Mahabharata, Nakula, the fourth son of King Pandu, is celebrated for his exceptional swordsmanship. He once debated with the Kuru grandsire Bhishma about the superiority of various weapons, firmly advocating for the sword. Nakula believed that the sword was unmatched in close combat, enabling a warrior to defend themselves even without a bow, horse, or chariot.

Swordsmanship, known as Khadgavidya, was a vital combat art in ancient India. Its techniques emphasized fluid circular movements and agility to outmaneuver opponents. The lightweight and flexible design of Indian swords allowed for swift attacks, although it required a masterful balance between offense and defense.
