Empathize Stage

During the emphasize stage, I worked with user bios to uncover target audience needs and pain points. Despite not conducting live interviews, these bios highlighted key challenges like time constraints, guiding user-centered design decisions.

Competitive Analysis Audit

I evaluated top financial apps to uncover gaps and user needs. Identified opportunities to differentiate Money Vault with a user-friendly interface, integrated tax filing, and personalized alerts. Insights shaped a design that exceeds user expectations.

Comparison Matrix Heatmap

This is a comparison matrix chart I created as part of a competitive audit. It helped me analyze and compare key features, functionalities, and user experiences across several industry competitors. By laying out this data visually, I was able to identify trends, strengths, and gaps, which guided my design decisions and allowed me to pinpoint opportunities for improvement in the user experience.

Highlight Insights

  • Time Constraints: 70% struggle to balance work, life, and finances due to busy schedules.

  • Simplified Tools: 85% want a fast, efficient tool to manage credit, research cards, and simplify finances.

  • Financial Goals: 75% aim to improve credit, find better cards, and achieve stability.

  • Personalization: 70% need tailored solutions for income, jargon, and balancing priorities.
