Candy Advent Calendar for Universal Yums

It was rewarding to work with Universal Yums in designing their Advent Calendar which features 24 different candies from all over the world. It's made for sharing: each compartment features at least 4 candies. Illustration work includes patterns and drawings inside the calendar as well as the packaging, layout and dieline. Hoot Design Studio provided art direction and creative vision along the way.

I got to work with Jeremy Friend on the custom typography that sits perfectly in the ribbon on the tree. The lettering Around The World In 24 Days takes on a whimsical and playful approach as it becomes the focus on the front of the box.
