Tourism Cowichan Website: The most down-to-earth place on Earth

Tourism Cowichan represents a group of communities on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. The purpose of their website is to get people excited about the region, and help them with trip planning. It needed to be incredibly easy to manage, due to their ever-changing business listings and new events to promote – but it wasn’t.

But more importantly, they now have full creative control over their site. They don’t need to hire a developer to change style settings on individual page elements, change content layouts, or tweak global styles. Nothing is hard-coded into the theme, it’s all accessible to their team in the visual editor.

The site can continue to grow and evolve with the communities it showcases.
