Indyforms UI Refresh

User Experience and User Interface Redesign

Indyforms, a form-building software, requested a redesign of their entire platform to revitalise it and create a better user experience for their customers. Starting in mid-2024, I spent the latter part of the year in an iterative design process aimed at creating a simple and intuitive user experience. The actions in various parts of the app were often confusing and difficult to understand. There were many times when I had to ask how to navigate to a certain feature or what something meant. Additionally, there were many unnecessary popup dialogs, which added extra steps to an already complicated process. I consolidated these dialogs during the redesign to streamline the user experience.

Above/ below I have compiled 15 UI images of various pages and actions within the Indyforms software.

The above gallery of images shows each of the different field groups in the Form Designer.

Above is a comparison between the old and new UI of the Forms list page.

Website Image Refresh

After redesigning the UI for the Indyforms software, I was asked to develop a number of illustrations depicting the updated UI for the "Childcare Software" page on their public website. In order from left to right, the image below shows the Dashboard, Folders and Add New Document dialog, New Record mobilization, Share Form dialogs, and the Form Builder page with the Form History dialog.

Indyforms has been using generic stock images to support the information on their website. Creating these illustrations gives the company more of an edge by showcasing their software in a playful, custom series of images.
