Animata Series - "Ursus"

"Animata" is a self-initiated project designed to explore and visually capture the connection between individuals and their combined spirit animal. The illustration layouts are intentionally simple yet impactful, with each composition featuring a person shown in profile, directly opposite their spirit animal, creating a sense of balance and reflection. Each person is also paired with a specific flower that has been thoughtfully chosen to represent their essence, adding an additional layer of symbolism to the piece.

The series touches on deeper concepts of emotion and human connection within the natural world, emphasizing how our inner feelings and identities can be reflected through nature and animals. The minimalist approach allows the viewer to focus on the emotional resonance between the person and their spirit animal, while the organic elements like flowers subtly reinforce themes of growth, harmony, and self-discovery.
