I've been in a bit of a slump creatively so I decides to treat myself to some new vector brushes from True Grit Texture Supply and it did the trick. I know that may seem a little silly but it's worked for me in the past and it hasn't failed me so far. I also wanted to experiment with more brushes because I'm asked frequently by clients to create vector illustrations that look hand drawn and so far the ones that come with the app haven't really done the trick.
