Stacey wanted something festive but not too christmassy for her single "Gingerbread Man' song. Her idea was the Gingerbread Man to be the main image! In the song he is running down the street so she wanted a cute little town in the background and he's running away down the street to be the pose of the gingerbread man with the lettering and her name to be festive.

So this illustration reflects the direction of the client with the Gingerbread man the hero of the composition with subtle small tiny houses in the back with a path or a street on which is running away. The main challenge was to incorporate the festive lettering and her name with the other elements and still look organised and clean. So I added her name on a candy cane sign board so that there's less clutter of elements in the composition. The gingerbread man lettering has cute tiny sparkles on sans serif decorative style for a festive look.
