From Marketing to Iris Photography: Through my Lens.
In November 2021, I took a break from the marketing world to embark on a new venture alongside a close friend—we delved into the captivating realm of photographing the human eye. To the surprise of most, the iris, with its one-of-a-kind characteristics, lends itself to a stunning piece of art when captured in all its detail. Navigating the complexities of the camera and mastering the art of iris photography presented a new and exciting challenge.
Our journey began with a pop-up at the Mall of America in Minneapolis. It gained momentum through a viral video, ultimately culminating in the opening of a store in the prestigious Forum Shops in Las Vegas. Over 18 months, I had the privilege of photographing more than 3,000 eyes, resulting in a myriad of art pieces now adorning walls all over the world.
While the experience was remarkable, I have moved on from iris photography. Nevertheless, the memories and the art created during this period will remain cherished forever.
