About Educational Data Science:
The Chair of Educational Data Science, led by Prof. Dr. Sven Hilbert, focuses on applying data science to the field of education. The teaching emphasis is on the methodological training and development of students in psychology, educational science, and teacher education. Students and doctoral candidates acquire skills for conducting independent scientific work using methods from data science, particularly machine learning, and statistics.
