Here are a few posters made for a SA awareness Campaign.
Concept - Art Direction - Execution.
SA affects a significant number of women, and rape culture is deeply rooted in our society. Yet, despite this, it remains largely unheard of. Few talk about it, and few people are aware of it. The suffering of these women, though so loud, makes little noise. The aim of the campaign is to highlight the lack of collective awareness and knowledge about SA, to show that rape culture and its normalization are pervasive, leading to significant inaction from the justice system in the majority of rape and SA cases. The ultimate goal is to foster collective awareness and understanding, to demonstrate that the judicial system is inadequate, and consequently to reach key stakeholders in order to push for systemic reform.
This campaign was created with Constantin Pepin, Art Director, who made the following posters. Combined, these black and white posters show how society's words are violent for the victims and unmarked, like a punch (black posters, sentences punching the glass) and how silence affect them (white posters, numbers behind the shattered glass).
