Book Cover

The brief asked us to create a fictional book cover design with an original concept, and we were free to choose the genre.

The theme I developed centers around a story of a grandmother in heaven and her granddaughter. They shared a deep bond, so even after the grandmother’s passing, they are given a special opportunity to meet seven times—only at night—when the granddaughter opens a musical box. Together, they travel to seven different continents, and this forms the basis of the book series.

For this project, I wanted to incorporate traditional art forms such as stitching, crochet, and real flower images, blending them with digital illustrations to create a unique and visually interesting design. All the elements are connected to the story.
