Poster – Frankston
This project involved creating a mural design for the windows of empty shops, aimed at enhancing and improving the appearance of the shopfronts while they are on the market to be leased. The theme was to reflect the life and landscape of Frankston. After brainstorming in detail and taking a walk along Frankston Beach, I came up with the idea of featuring cormorants. These birds aren’t usually the focus of attention, but they are always present, amusing us with their funny dives and poses.
I wanted the tone of the design to be fun and positive, as it would be viewed by a wide range of people. To achieve this, I used bright colors and gentle, inviting elements.
The top image with text is a design I created after completing this project.
