Sharing a motion concept I was testing utilizing diverse visual metaphors to convey common interaction logic, such as focus states, In this case, Tabs focus to be precise.

One key point to highlight is the extension of the light shafts during the transition between the focus and pressed states. For this interaction concept, we aimed to enhance the highlights in the pressed state to draw attention to the element that is being activated.
