KZRW Radio North County - Brand Guidelines
This exhibit is to further demonstrate Radio North County’s (RNC) educational objectives and that the proposed radio station, KZRW-LPFM, will be used for the advancement of an educational program under 73.503(a) of the FCC Rules.
The proposed station's educational broadcast program is to be a community led and managed radio broadcasting service, providing access, information, communication, entertainment, training, and employment. RNC will encourage and promote the voices of local people including those who are under-represented, have been historically marginalized, and/or are socially excluded, to provide an outlet for creativity, shared vision, expression and social good.
One of RNC’s educational objectives is to increase media access and media literacy within northern Clark County and the surrounding counties, including small towns and the semi-rural and rural areas of Southwest Washington. Although we are in close proximity to Portland, Oregon, our community has strong rural roots and is racially, ethnically and culturally isolated in many respects. Our area is developing rapidly and our radio programming will create a welcoming environment for many increasingly diverse newcomers. RNC will provide a service that offers knowledge and information to build that broader, stronger, more culturally literate and unified community defined by its advanced inclusion, diversity and equity.
