CITY DAY

Chișinău City Day is celebrated annually on October 14, coinciding with the Feast of the Protection of the Holy Mother of God, giving the holiday a special cultural and spiritual significance for the city.

Festivities include concerts, fairs, parades, exhibitions, and other events across the city, especially in central areas. The main celebrations take place in Chișinău’s central square, the Great National Assembly Square, featuring concerts with local and international artists.

The holiday draws not only residents but also visitors from other regions of Moldova and abroad, making it a vibrant and widely attended celebration.
