The Design
What can I say, I like painting. Every time I make a new discovery in the form of an artist, I always want to test my strength in web design. Of all his works, this particular photo has captured my heart. It's too elegant and aesthetically pleasing. And based on it, I created the design itself in a similar style.
Eric Madigan Heck
Erik Madigan Heck, b. 1983, Excelsior, is an artist working in photography, painting, and film. Heck is the recipient of the International Center of Photography’s Infinity Award, the FOAM Fotografiemuseum talent award, the Forbes' 30 under 30 award, and The Art Director’s Club Gold Medal for his Old Masters Portfolio published by The New York Times Magazine.
Inspiration
I looked at a lot of Madigan's paintings and picked out a few that I thought were interesting. This was the basis for the finished concept.
