Transit Logo – Gridsplained

This is the first time I’ve gridsplained a logo.

You’ve probably seen logos before with lots of lines and circles drawn over them, but sometimes they don’t really line up. While finalizing this mark, I wanted to make sure the proportions and especially the curvature was consistent and reasoned, so I redrew it to adhere to a grid.

The train icon below does not adhere to a grid in this way, but I did want to highlight the T shape in the negative space that reinforces the Transit name.
