The Bone & Joint Jamaica Centre, formerly known as The Bone and Eye Clinic, is a specialized premier destination for personalized Orthopaedic, Physiotherapy, and Rehabilitation services.

Our client and founder of The Bone & Jone Jamaica Centre recognized the growing need for a seamless online experience to sell medical products and offer patients a trusted and easy-to-navigate website. That’s where we stepped in to help build a custom-designed, e-commerce-enabled website for them. Let’s see how we did Custom UI for them:

Problem Statement

The client wanted to sell medical products through a static website but lacked the necessary e-commerce functionality and design to create an engaging and user-friendly platform. The existing setup wasn’t optimized for sales, and the client needed a solution that would not only highlight their product offerings but also make it easy for patients to browse and purchase online.

Solution

To address the client’s needs, we developed a comprehensive solution that focused on both design and functionality. Here’s the process:

Working closely with the client: We worked closely with Scott to understand his vision and gather detailed information about medical products and the customer base.

Custom UI Design: Based on the information provided, we created a custom UI for the website, ensuring that the design reflected the professionalism and reliability of Bone & Joint Jamaica’s brand. We aimed for a clean, intuitive layout that would appeal to patients.

Development: Once the clients approved the design, we moved into the development phase on our staging environment. We built out the subpages using the approved homepage layout, ensuring consistency across the site.

WooCommerce Integration: To facilitate online sales, we integrated WooCommerce, allowing Bone & Joint Jamaica to list their medical products with full details, prices, and descriptions. This gave clients the ability to manage inventory, track orders, and offer a seamless checkout experience for customers.

Final Approval and QA: After getting the client’s final approval on the staging site, we conducted thorough quality assurance testing to ensure everything—from design to functionality—worked perfectly. This included testing the WooCommerce setup, ensuring smooth navigation, and checking site responsiveness.

Launch: Once the site passed our QA process, we worked with Scott to move the site live, ensuring a smooth transition.

Results
