Corpool

Project Overview

Corpool is a carpooling app designed for the corporate environment. The name is a fusion of the words "corporate" and "carpool." Corpool's goal is to promote sustainable transportation within companies, encouraging interaction between employees and facilitating the organization of carpooling, which may have previously occurred informally through WhatsApp groups but now has its own dedicated platform. What sets Corpool apart from other carpooling apps, such as Waze Carpool, BlaBlaCar, and InDriver, is its exclusive focus on the corporate sector. It was developed to serve employees of the same company or network, without requiring interaction with people entirely outside of their social circle, providing greater security and convenience.

This project was a semifinalist in Volkswagen's 2024 talent contest - Create Your Space.
