I recently had the opportunity to design a logo for Logo.app, a free logo maker tool aimed at helping users create simple and professional logos with ease. My goal was to develop a design that not only looked modern and memorable, but also effectively communicated the purpose of the service in a simple and visually appealing way.
The idea was to combine two key elements that represent the essence of the platform:
The Pencil – a universal symbol for creativity, design, and crafting ideas. It represents the tool that users will use to create their logos.
The Letter 'L' – symbolizing "Logo," the core offering of the platform. The integration of the 'L' subtly reinforces the name while keeping the design minimal and clever.
