Figma Meets Figjam Mode
The other day, I was working on designing an onboarding experience. At some point, I realized that I needed to focus more on workflows and less on UI.
While using Figma, I tried to create flowcharts with decision points and its bells and whistles. However, after getting used to doing flowcharts on Figjam, it felt very tedious to do it on Figma.
Then it occurred to me - since Figma already has a Dev Mode that transforms the UI to display details useful for developers, and we also have Flides (Figma Slides), that also has a Presenter and Designer Mode?
What If... we had a Figjam mode? This mode, when toggled on, would display a Figjam canvas and all the associated tools.
I understand that it might be a huge technical challenge to change the "Figma" canvas for a "Figjam" canvas, but I really believe that this upgrade would be awesome if Figma could pull it off. Maybe if it detects you already have elements on the canvas, it'll force you to create a new page in Figjam mode.
