Three years ago, I started the creation of a comprehensive design system for ESB, beginning with the ESB.ie website. This involved auditing all existing components, streamlining them, and ensuring they met Level 2 web compliance standards for accessibility.

Key highlights included:

🃏 Implementing three-card and four-card row rules

🌐 Establishing localisation standards for Irish language users

⌨️ Designing a mega menu for keyboard-only usersThese efforts set a new gold standard for web accessibility and usability at ESB. I’m proud to have contributed to a project that prioritised inclusivity and user experience.
