Headings for Screen Readers 2/2

Target’s page highlights multiple font sizes used for promotional text. Although they visually resemble headings, it’s important to assign heading levels properly, such as H2 for section headings and H3 for subcategories, to maintain accessibility.

  • H2 for the section heading Save on, saver.

  • H3 for each product’s description, ensuring proper nesting of headings.

  • Key Tip: Even when you have promotional text, make sure your heading hierarchy reflects the logical structure of your content for users with screen readers.
