Sunflare Art — Contemporary Art Gallery Website Design

Sunflare Art gallery interior with artworks and welcoming text overlay.

Overview:

Welcome to my latest UI/UX design project: Sunflare Art, a contemporary art gallery that embodies the vibrant energy of human creativity. This project centers around delivering an immersive digital experience that reflects the warmth and radiance of Sunflare Art’s physical gallery space.

Design Concept:

The Sunflare Art website aims to evoke the ethereal qualities of sunlight, celebrating art’s transformative power. My focus was to create a layout that feels both modern and inviting, blending smooth interactions with a color palette inspired by golden hour hues. Each page guides the visitor through a journey that mimics walking through a serene and sunlit art gallery.

Navigation & Structure:

The top navigation bar includes straightforward yet essential options: Pricing, About Us, and Contact. These links are deliberately kept minimal to maintain the focus on the gallery’s visuals. The navigation uses a sticky style on scroll, ensuring accessibility without compromising on aesthetics.

Color Palette & Typography:

The palette features warm gold, deep black, rich brown, and olive green, creating a vibrant yet grounded aesthetic. The typography includes Allison for headers, adding an elegant touch, while Merriweather is used for body text, ensuring readability.

Tools & Technologies:

  • - Figma for wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes.

  • - Adobe Illustrator for custom icons and illustrations.

  • - HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript for the front-end development.

  • - A focus on accessibility, ensuring a smooth experience for all users.

Final Thoughts:

Sunflare Art’s digital presence mirrors the gallery’s ethos: a celebration of light, art, and human creativity. The design and development process prioritized creating a platform that’s not only visually appealing but also offers an engaging user experience.
