3d pixel "Typeface"
Messing with the idea of creating type that is designed from the outset to be dimensional, for applications in digital spaces.
This typeface comes in roman and italic versions. In smaller applications, the type is implemented as an embedded font. However in large applications such as headings, the dimensional versions of the letters can be used. The pixels that form the letters are expanded into cubes, built and animated with css. Those cubes that make up the roman characters are mapped to an X/Y grid, while those making up the the italic version are mapped to a Z/Y grid.
The shapes of the letters are dictated in part by the desire to make sure all the pixels are visible in both orientations, with no pixel behind another in 3d space.
