YNO Beauty aims to create and provide healthy and effective skincare products that are designed to treat, rejuvenate, and improve the skin, as well as improve the overall lifestyles of their customers by helping them look beautiful and regain their confidence. This dynamic branding was designed specifically to resonate with Gen Z and Millennial audiences. The brand sought a modern, inclusive identity that would appeal to both men and women. The custom typography logo features a distinctive "Y" that draws inspiration from the brand name, "YNO" (which can be interpreted as "Why No"). The design incorporates a combination of the letter "Y," symbolizing "Why," and a cross (X), symbolizing "No." For the letters 'N' and 'O,' I opted for a more structured design to convey a sense of balance and inclusivity, reflecting the brand's appeal to both genders. In contrast, the letter "Y" has a softer, more fluid form, lending a more feminine touch. This distinction not only reinforces gender inclusivity but also aligns with the values of diversity that resonate strongly with Millennial consumers. Additionally, the letter "O" is intentionally designed with an imperfect, non-circular shape, symbolizing the brand's embrace of authenticity and imperfection. The message conveyed is that confidence, rather than perfection, is what allows us to shape our own narrative. The letter "Y" also serves as a versatile sub-mark or icon, reinforcing the brand's visual identity in a simplified, recognizable form.
