IT systems monitoring

My part on the project was smaller than usual, but no less exciting. The client, a major bank, has been collecting large amounts of data about its IT systems, applications and their respective features to see if everything is working.

Technical maintenance is must, but we realized the data was highly underutilized. That's why offered another interpretation of the data: impacts on customer experience. After analysis and restructuring the view on the data, we designed monitoring dashbards that would, on different levels of detail, provide information to different stakeholders – from a board director who needs to know from a single glance where resources and opportunity are being lost, all the way to division leaders who need to learn what exactly is not working and whose responsibility it is to make it work again.
