Starkid is an educational iPad app thoughtfully designed for toddlers and preschoolers aged 2–5, to enhance early literacy and cognitive skills development. We acknowledge the importance of early education and have created Starkid to make learning engaging and enjoyable for young kids. 🧒
Design elements were strategically placed to reduce cognitive overload for young kids. Interactive flashcards with bold, playful illustrations and easy-to-read text, specifically tailored for early learners. The galactic theme acts as both a fun narrative and a navigational tool, where planets represent different learning categories.
We implemented safety features like lock mode, parental controls, and a study time tracker to ensure a secure learning environment. The premium feature provides additional content to further enrich the learning experience. We also focused on maintaining consistency across all screens, aligning every design element with our theme and educational goals. 🎯
