Macrinus redux
Art, in my experience, is never a straight line. And in this case the process can create multiple avenues for completeness. For the original item shared here, I painted a complete portrait of Denzel Washington as Macrinus and then subtracted what I could to give the impression of a sketch; replicating as best the natural media of my training to the digital output we all work within today. Sharing processes and procedures can be helpful to some so I am sharing another portion of the process of these works.
