The Brass Hat – Enamel Pins
I was approached to create a brand identity for a speakeasy bar concept in my hometown that not only branded the bar but also the business front. I did so through a narrative between the two identities that captured the mystery and intrigue of a hidden bar. The first features a classic scuba helmet, representing the “business front” dive shop, but hidden within–like the bar itself–an octopus emerges from the helmet.
We created the visual identity, enamel pins, merch, and an animation with Adam Loomis that beautifully portrays the transformation. The client also had a custom chandelier and neon lights made to elevate and brand the space.
