Urban Cycles

“Urban Cycles” is an innovative 3D series featuring three iconic buildings located in different cities around the world, each captured with unique details and a common element: a blue bicycle. This project explores the relationship between urban architecture and the small details that bring life to spaces.

Tokyo, Japan

The first piece in the “Urban Cycles” series takes us to the vibrant streets of Tokyo at night. This small restaurant, typical of the city, is located on a street without sidewalks, reflecting the unique and compact design of Japan's urban areas. A glowing sign highlights the restaurant’s façade, while a single streetlamp casts a warm light over the scene. On the side of the building, an air conditioning unit juts out, and smoke rising from the exhaust vent adds a touch of life and nocturnal activity. The blue bicycle, a constant element in this series, remains a symbol of exploration, inviting viewers to journey through every corner of this bustling city.

New York, USA

The second piece of the “Urban Cycles” series takes viewers to the heart of New York City. This building, characteristic of the city's architecture, features fire escapes on the façade and an air conditioning unit protruding from a window—classic details of New York urban life. At street level, a small gift shop adds a touch of local commerce, while a bike lane under construction hints at the city's constant dynamism and evolution. On the corner, the iconic pedestrian traffic light glows, symbolizing the ceaseless flow of people and cyclists in the city that never sleeps. A nearby alley, complete with a dumpster and graffiti, adds another layer of authenticity, capturing an iconic element of New York's streetscape. Once again, the blue bicycle appears as a connecting element, symbolizing movement and exploration.

Murano, Italy

The third piece in this series is an evocative representation of a house in Murano, known for its canals and charming architecture. The scene depicts the building in a nighttime setting after a rainstorm. The reflections of streetlights shimmer on the wet pavement, creating a calm and mysterious atmosphere. The blue bicycle, standing out against the dark tones and warm lights, symbolizes the latent life within the city as everything seems to be at rest. The scene captures the tranquility and silence of a night in Murano, where only the soft sound of water breaks the stillness.
