Art Deco Salon - Either to please or educate

Back to my main work - Art Deco. This time, I wanted to create the Champagne Salon with Horace's definition of a poem in a Latin clause. It means "To Please or To Educate" and I think Salon was one of the places where gathering educated rich people(not always though), sharing knowledge, creating their network, etc.

In this illustration, I intended more focusing on "to please" rather than "to educate." A rich man and woman sitting in the foreground cheer each other while books are on the background table. They might discuss the books and take some quick notes as well. 2 people on a far background are enjoying the atmosphere where a champagne glass tower is behind them.

While playing around with Lightroom, I also found some interesting color presets so attached below my rough sketch.
