PROJECT OVERVIEW

The PhilRECA Souvenir Program was a comprehensive design project undertaken from July 26 to August 15, aimed at creating a detailed and visually engaging souvenir book for the Philippine Rural Electrification Cooperatives Association, Inc. (PHILRECA) Partylist. This project involved multiple stages of design and content integration to produce a final product that accurately reflected the organization’s achievements and regional contributions.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

As the lead designer, I was responsible for managing the entire layout and design process, which included the following key tasks:

  1. Layout Design: Developed and executed the layout for the souvenir program at the PhilRECA office in Quezon City, ensuring that the design was both aesthetically pleasing and functional. This involved arranging text, images, and graphical elements in a cohesive manner.

  2. Content Integration: Coordinated with the working committee to gather and incorporate various content elements, including:

    • Messages: Integrated formal messages from key figures and stakeholders, ensuring they were prominently featured and aligned with the overall design.

    • Directory Updates: Updated and formatted the directory information to reflect the most current details, maintaining accuracy and consistency throughout the book.

    • Reports: Included detailed reports from different regions, formatting them to fit seamlessly into the design while preserving clarity and readability.

  3. Regional Requirements: Addressed and included specific requirements from various regions, ensuring that all regional contributions were represented and aligned with the program’s theme.

  4. Challenges & Solutions: Faced challenges related to meeting tight deadlines and coordinating multiple elements. Employed effective project management strategies to ensure timely completion and quality control.

The final souvenir program was successfully completed and met all of PHILRECA’s requirements. It was well-received by the organization and its stakeholders, effectively showcasing their accomplishments and regional efforts in a professional and engaging format.

  • Adobe Creative Suite: Utilized Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign for design and layout.

  • Project Management: Managed time effectively and coordinated with various teams to meet deadlines.
