Ripple Animation & Ecommerce Laniding Page Redesign
While browsing the North American website of SEKKISEI, I noticed that it struggles to make a lasting impression on users, especially new ones. The low-quality promotional images on the homepage fail to capture attention, and the lack of a clear content hierarchy makes it difficult for users to quickly understand the brand’s uniqueness and competitive edge. Additionally, the overall lack of engaging or intuitive interactions leads to a dull user experience, which can negatively impact the brand’s image.
To address these issues, I made the following adjustments in the redesign:
1. Showcasing High-Quality Visual Content: I used high-definition product images or promotional videos in the hero section to immediately capture users' attention. Additionally, I introduced banners for the brand's main product lines, accompanied by compelling descriptive text and CTA buttons, to help users quickly understand the brand’s offerings and increase conversion rates.
2. Optimizing Content Hierarchy and Layout: I reorganized the content hierarchy to highlight key information, making it easier for users to browse the site and quickly grasp important details like the brand’s star products, key product lines, and latest offerings.
3. Adding Intuitive Interaction: To enhance user engagement and increase retention and conversion rates, I added a ripple effect when displaying the brand’s star products. This not only makes the website more appealing but also conveys the message that the brand’s products deeply nourish the skin, leaving it hydrated and glowing.
