Padungan Logo

Padungan Road is so called Chinatown in Kuching, Sarawak. It was developed about the 1920s / 1930s during the rubber boom. Architecture along Padungan Road are elegantly decorated. Chinese lanterns are hanging along the road throughout the year. Many chic new eateries are currently open at Padungan Road. This gives it a whole new experience walking along the old street with new and chic sensation.

The logo designed based on the chinese culture at Padungan, Architecture of the building at Padungan, combined with the elegant feeling of the surrounding. The logo is designed as a shape of the lantern as it is the identity of the road, which lantern are being hung across the road throughout the street. This logo combines the Chinese tradition element (the Chinese brush and the Chinese cloud), Chinese culture(the red colour), unique architecture(the arc), with the black serif logotype.
