Never-Ending Wanko Soba

There is a unique soba (buckwheat noodles) dish called “Wanko Soba,” in Iwate Prefecture, Japan. “Wanko” means a bowl, and you can eat soba in a small bowl, refilling as much as you like until you are full. The restaurant staff continues to add mouthfuls of soba while rhythmically calling out to the customer until the customer is full and closes the lid of the bowl.
